Taking a page from helmets used in girl's softball, the Harley-Davidson Skyline half helmet and shielded open-face motorcycle helmet were the industry's first women's half-shell and open faced helmets with a ponytail notch.

The Skyline helmets feature an outer shell and inner EPS shell that are 10mm deeper, allowing for a more comfortable fit on a woman's forehead and the back of the head.
